Good Reads provides additional links to resources on the internet that will be useful in designing instructional web-based products. If you haven't already read Thinking through Linking, that is a great place to start.

Many of the professors in the Department of Educational Technology at San Diego State University are mounting significant portions of course syllabi and related resources on the web. It is well worth doing some rooting around within the pages, especially the professor's pages, to see the thought provoking materials there.

Take a gander at Al Rogers of the Global SchoolNet Foundation. Look to Al Rogers and the Global SchoolNet for innovative ways to get learners actively involved in web-based projects and publishing as in the CalWeb Project. .

Brainstorming Activities Once you are vaguely familiar with the internet, you might want to think about ways to incorporate internet sites into small classroom or library activities. See this page for ideas on things you can do and internet sites that support each idea.

Learning with the World by Tom March is a guide designed for educators and others who are embarking into the world of creating web-based learning products.

*** Curriculum Integration *** by Bill Burrall. This is a page full of links to websites involved in curricular integretion of telecomputing. One of the most interesting is "The Basics of a Collaborative Telecomputing Project." This includes: Getting Started, Finding Contacts, Developing a Timeline, Motivating the Students, Project Ideas, Documenting Results.
