Assignment: Read to Surf
So that you have a general understanding of the types of applications that exist on the Web, read "What's on the Web?". It was originally printed in a Summer,1995 issue of the Computer Using Educators' newsletter, but this online version has the advantage of being "surfable" (i.e., when a Web site is mentioned, all you do is click on its name and you'll go right to the site).
