Introduction
In addition to using books the internet is a wonderful source of information. Here is a hotlist with a few good sites to help you get started on teaching photosynthesis with the internet as a resource.
The Internet Resources
Plants and our Environment
- This site is good for the explanation of vocabulary words in the photosynthesis lesson. The different vocabulary words can be clicked on to link to the explanations.It also has a diagram and explains the process of photosynthesis.
Illuminating Photosynthesis
- This is an interesting site. It has a cute little interactive bit. It also shows the process of photosynthesis by showing the movement of the different molecules.Then it has three cute little puzzles for the students to try and figure out.
Photosynthesis
- This is a very good site when teaching about photosynthesis because it explains the process of photosynthesis in a very precise way and there is a quiz for the students to take after to see if they understood the information
