1920's Entertainment - (Music Coordinator)The entertainment of the 20's is completely different from the entertainment of today. The 20's were known as the 'Jazz Age.' This decade was known as the 'Jazz Age' because jazz was very popular and just beginning to show off the talents. This could have also been known as the turning point in music. There were many different people who changed music and the way people look at it.

Charleston (dance) - (Entertainment Coordinator) The Charleston is a dance named for the city of Charleston, South Carolina. The rhythm was popularized in mainstream dance music in the United States of America by a 1923 tune called The Charleston by composer/pianist James P. Johnson which originated in the Broadway show Runnin' Wild[1] and became one of the most popular hits of the decade. Runnin' Wild ran from 10/29/1923 through 06/28/1924.[2]

But the flappers got down and dirty with jazz — or rather, the white, refined version of that improvisational jamming — in elegant (or just plain gaudy) ballrooms or right in their own living rooms. They danced the Charleston, the Black Bottom, the Fox Trot, Tango, and all sorts of exotic steps.

The 1920's Automobile - The 1920’s brought huge success for the automobile industry. The 1920’s brought a whole new variety of makes and models to the automobile industry. One large contributing factor to the success of the automobile industry was Americas booming economy, which was due to the end of World War I and the return soldiers. Soon, American began to see the benefits of the automobile.
The Automotive Age - The First Ford Cars
The Model T - The first production Model T Ford was assembled at the Piquette Avenue Plant in Detroit on October 1, 1908. Over the next 19 years, Ford would build 15,000,000 automobiles with the Model 'T' engine, the longest run of any single model apart from the Volkswagen Beetle. From 1908-1927, the Model T would endure with little change in its design. Henry Ford had succeeded in his quest to build a car for the masses.
