An Interactive Orchestra - Students are presented with a colorful orchestra seating chart. Click on each section to hear a musical excerpt.
Fun with Music - The San Francisco Symphony Kids' Site has pictures of all the instruments of the orchestra. Students can hear each one, too!
Kidzone - This site is sponsored by the New York Philharmonic Orchestra. Students will enjoy visiting the instrument storage room. The game room is also lots of fun!
Music Room - Students will love exploring the Dallas Symphony Orchestra Music Room. Be sure to check out the instrument encyclopedia!
Musicians and Instruments Up-Close - This site has pictures and detailed desciptions of orchestral instruments. Be sure to check out the interactive violin.
Play Music - The American Symphony Orchestra League invites children to take a seat with the orchestra. Don't forget to play the juke box!
Virtual Orchestra - Students can explore pages about each of the instrument families. Click on an instrument to hear and see more! To hear a musical example, point the mouse at the green button underneath the color photograph.
