There are many wonderful resources available to help our students learn more about how to use the Internet safely and effectively for educational purposes. This resources list provides a great start to integrating this important instruction in your classroom.
Cybersmart K-12 Curriculum - CyberSmart! Student Curriculum covers all aspects of responsible and effective technology use in a package that is easy for all teachers to use.
Digital Citizenship Education - This website has a wealth of resources and curriculum to help everyone learn more about copyright, fair use, creative commons, etc.
Disney Online Safety Site - Many resources to help all parents teach their children about Internet Safety.
Internet Safety and other safety resources - This website, hosted by Pearson Education, provides a variety of resources to help community members, parents, educators and young people become better informed about the Internet and how to use it safely.
Net Cetera: Chatting with Kids About Being Online - A new booklet released by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and other government agencies helps parents and teachers steer kids safely through the online and mobile-phone worlds. The booklet, titled “Net Cetera: Chatting with Kids About Being Online,” was unveiled last month at Jefferson Middle School in Washington, D.C., by FTC Chairman Jon Leibowitz, U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan, and Federal Communications Commission Chairman Julius Genachowski. It tells parents and teachers what they need to know to talk to kids about issues such as cyber bullying, sexting, mobile phone safety, and protecting the family computer. According to the FTC and U.S. Department of Education, talking to kids about these topics can help them avoid rude online behavior; steer clear of inappropriate content such as pornography, violence, or hate speech; and protect themselves from contact with bullies, predators, hackers, and scammers

Online Safety Resources - This website, sponsored by the Lakeville Minnesota school district, offers educators and parents many resources to help ensure that young people use the Internet safely
iSafe - This Internet Safety education curriculum is available for the price of a subscription. Access to i-SAFE’s e-Safety curriculum is through subscription and license ONLY. There are three license and subscription packages to choose from: Gold, Silver, or the E-Rate Compliance Package. Teachers must become certified by participating in either the self-paced training or training provided by a certified iSafe trainer.
