A Day On, Not a Day Off - Students may read about the history of the Martin Luther King holiday. They also will find a short biography of Dr. King and the complete text of his 'I Have a Dream' speech.
Dr. King Timeline - Students will enjoy seeing drawings of the life of Dr. King. The artwork was done by a class from Oregon.
Martin Luther King Jr. & the Civil Rights Movement - This site contains timelines, photo galleries and quizzes. Students and parents will also be able to hear audio clips from eight of Dr. King's speeches.
Martin Luther King National Historical Site - This is the place to read about National Park Service museums dedicated to preserving the memory of Dr. King. Students will love taking a virtual tour of his birth home.
Martin Luther King Timeline - A 2nd grade class from New York used Kidpix to illustrate important events in the life of Martin Luther King.
