American Pioneer Sod Houses - You will find many pictures of sod houses at this site.
Early Illinois - This site is sponsored by the State Museum of Illinois. There's lots of information here!
Museum in the Classroom - This site was developed by third and fourth grade students at Hinckley Elementary School in a partnership with Southern Illinois University. The site contains many pictures of items that were used in pioneer times.
Pioneer Camera - Here is a collection of photos taken in North Dakota from the late 1870's to the early 1900's.
Pioneer Dugouts - Here's another type of house built by the pioneers.
Pioneer Life - Elementary students from Illinois created this virtual museum.
