Introduction
This hotlist offers different sites that discuss technology intergration in the classroom. Hopefully, this hotlist will allow the user to understand the inportance of intergrating technology into the classroom.
The Internet Resources
National Center for Technology in Education
- This site is gives suggestions and tips for special education teachers interseted in using technology to help special needs students. It provides a section which offers advice for beginning technology integration. It also gives an overview of different types of software and adaptive equipment.
Simplified Technology
- This website talks about the importance of using assistive technology and communication devices with students. It provides a general philosophy for providing assistive technology. The author also discusses the benifits of providing this technology to special needs students.
Wisconsin Assistive Technology Initiative
- This website provides many diffent links to different types of assistive technology. The site also provides a resource guide for teachers interested in integrating assistive technology into their classrooms. Finally, the site provides links to other sites that offer assistive technolgy.

- This site is a company whose goal is to provide helpful ways to integrate technology in the classroom. It provides teachers with a listing of helpful software and hardware. It also gives teachers a listing of solutions to common problems.
Schools Integration Project
- This website is a project of the National Center for Technology in Education. It provides teachers with a publications and internet links which are helpful when beginning technolgy integration. It also contains a collection of projects which use technology for learning.
Technology in Education: A quick key to technology integration
- This site focuses on the understanding of Title II, Part D of the No Child Left Behind Act. It lays out technology intergration part of the NCLB Act. It provides resources for teachers trying to learn how intergrate technology into their classrooms.

- This site is a publication about using assistive technology to aid toddlers with special needs. The site provides answers to different questions that parents and teachers may have about the assistive technology. It also provides an answer to the question of how to obtain the assistive technology.
