Introduction
With a solid Network in place, technology is being used to connect students with learning opportunities, to connect teachers with tools that increase engagement and understanding and to connect everyone involved in the educational process with information and data that enables accurate analysis of what is happening.

Instructional Tools

CPS and Chalkboard - Classroom Performance System (CPS) allows every student to answer every questions and provides valuable data for the teacher. The Chalkboard frees the teacher to move around the classroom. Both tools promote student interaction.

Promethean Board - Retelling a Story - A powerful feature of the Promethean Activprimary software is the video recorder. It is ideal for recording or retelling parts of a story - and the animation, sound and movement are all stimulating for younger learners.
Promethean Board - Web Resources - Peter Lambert shows how an ariel photograph and a map can be related. This utilizes the layers available in Activstudio.
iPods for ESL - synchronization dock provides for effective management of iPods

netStartEnterprise - Levelland ISD - Distributed Content Management allows administrators to assign the authoring process to individuals, departments or groups responsible for maintaining selected web pages Database-driven Web Sites provides the ability to manage content from an easy to use web-based tool set available from any computer connected to the Internet.

Access to Resources

United Streaming (Computer and LCD Projector} - Using a computer with Internet access and a LCD projector teachers have access to a rich collection of more than 50,000 video segments from among 5,000 full-length educational videos from Discovery School and other award-winning producers -- with more than 1,000 new titles added every year.
