Farming in the 1930's - This site includes interviews with people who lived through the Dust Bowl. There also are many photographs.
The Dust Bowl - This site includes pictures from the time period. It is also possible to watch a short video of a real dust storm.
The Dust Bowl of Oklahoma - Read about the farming practices that caused severe dust storms in the state of Oklahoma.
Woody Guthrie--Dust Bowl Balladeer - Students will find facts about the life of Woody Guthrie, a man who wrote songs about the Dust Bowl. Be sure to listen to him sing 'Pretty Boy Floyd.'
