Rainforest Theme Unit - From abcteach.com, this site has lots of printables, including graphic organizers, research cards,and report forms. It also has basic information and illustrations of many rainforest animals.

General Information

All About Rainforests - Your one-stop site for all things rainforest. This portion of the Enchanted Learning site has basic information on the rainforests, quizzes, printouts and an illustrated glossary which includes plants, animals, and other aspects of the rainforest.
Animals of the Rainforest - Extensive information on numerous animals of the rainforest. Animals are grouped according to class (amphibian, bird, mammal) for easier searching. Good photos as well.
Rainforest Animals - Students can find information on a small selection of animals on this site.

Rainforest Preservation

The Rainforest Alliance - This site is also dedicated to the preservatio of the rainforest. There is information about their Adopt-a-Rainforest program as well as information on the numerous resources we get from the rainforests. The research information found here is going to focus on the damage that is done by the clearing of the world's rainforests.
