The Internet Resources
50 States - Basic information on each state from state symbols to famous people. Includes links to other sites with more information.
America's Story - This site from the Library of Congress goes beyond the basic state facts. It has some great photos as well. Be sure to click on the arrow for 'More Stories'.
Enchanted Learning - You can't go wrong with Enchanted Learning. Here you will find basic facts, maps, quizzes, state flags and various items you can print out. This site looks more kid-oriented than others.
Netstate - This site has all of the basic state facts students are looking for. It also has an online quiz for each state.
Stately Knowledge - This is a kid-safe site from the Internet Public Library. It provides quick basic facts as well as links to more information.
The US 50 - This site provides information on a variety of topics including the history, geography, and tourism of the state. There is a state quiz and links to other sites for that state.
