Phase 3 - Reaching Consensus
You have all learned about different people in the American Revolution. Now group members come back to the larger web quest team with expertise gained by searching from one perspective. You must all now complete the Time line as a group. Each of you will bring a certain information to the time line: some of you will agree and others disagree. Use information, pictures, movies, facts, opinions, etc. from the web sites and resources you explored to convince your teammates that your information is the most important and should be part of your team's response. Your web quest team should make a time line that everyone on the team can live with.

Conclusion
When you are finished with this Web Quest you will have a better understanding of the Revolutionary period. You will be able to describe important events during the Revolutionary War and describe some daily living activities from that period. How has your thinking changed since you first started this, remember learning never stops. What else would you still like to learn about the American Revolution?

Evaluation- Rubric
When you hand in your time line, I will grade them using the rubric below. If you are working in pairs, each partner will receive the same grade.

1 Beginning
2 Developing
3 Accomplished
4 Exemplary
1. Beginning- Anything less than a 2, 3, or 4. (I.e. there are less than 5 events. The information is not presented in the correct format. There are no descriptions or innacurate descriptions. There are no reasons written as to why that event is important.)

2- Developing There are less than 8 events on the timeline. Each event has a description, although it may not be accurate. There is a statement about why the event is important , however, is does not reflect an understanding of the American Revolution.
3- Accomplished There are less than 8 events on the timeline. Each event has an accurate description. There is a statement about why the event is important in the year 1776 that demonstrates a beginning understanding of the American Revolution.
4- Exemplary There are at least 8 events on the time line. Each event has a description that accurately describes the event. There is a statement about why each event is important in the year 1776 that demonstrates an understanding of the American Revolution.
